Really drawn to the second with its quiet monochromatic palette. Hipstamatic does it again and you. Happy Photo Challenge.

Thanks
the second is my favorite too. That half tone comes close to early silver printing which I love
Happy Monday back at you

I love that second image – it has such a timeless quality about it.

Was thinking timeless too. Glad you caught it. Those places also seem as if you are in a time capsule.

I really like the second photo – the whole thing looks quite liquid and flowi g – like heavy rain.

I did keep editing until the actual wet feeling of that moment showed up. Thanks

I like the second, but I’m not sure why tourist photography and street photography have to be any different. 🙂 We’re both photographer and tourist when we go somewhere, yet we strive to take excellent photos.

Oh so well said. Maybe it would be better to say I’m taking my travel photos to Art.

Nice photos, Carol. I am a sucker for the first image. I love the deep blacks of a B&W photo at night and this is a beauty. Great exposure—no blown out highlights.

After some fact checking my Mr. Took that photo but it got in my files. Having Only one computer can cause problems
Anyway I edited it. Chose it so to speak. Now no one will trust me ever again oh no it’s a catastrophe!
