Okay, I have to confess, I’m baffled by “plant matriarchy.” I’m guessing that the flower store’s owners might be older women?

This Berkeley so I suspect she is saying plant seeds that will grow female energy leading the world. Yes it is female run business. It used to be a sad rundown place now it has blossomed
