Harness. That makes sense. I watch them walk out to the water and suit up then unfurl the kite. It takes a long time. Then they fly around half hour or less. Then take it all down. Those minutes in the air must be worth it.
I agree with you about those minutes in the air. I have watched the kite surfers under the GGB and some of them can catch the wind and travel the length of a football field when the conditions are right.
