It has finally started raining in California and I am appreciating every drop that falls, even the ones that make the puddles I step in outside my backdoor.

We were staying in Serra Canyon, Malibu at the time. I’ve only seen rain like that in the tropics!

That kind of rain use to be called the Pineapple Express because it comes from Hawaii. Sounded too much like a tropical drink with a little umbrella, I guess so now it’s an Atmospheric River. Still a lot of water all at once.
