Not on fire but glowing
Not on fire but glowing.

What can I say The word for today has to be WOW!

Brings new meaning to “California Dreaming on Such a Winter’s Day“. In the middle of January these leaves are still hanging onto the tree. The noon-day sun was shinning through only a few leaves of this old pear tree at the end of my block. The sight was breathtaking, just as wonderful as sunlight through a stained glass window, only better because I didn’t have to get all dressed up to see it.

The smaller picture is a maple, I think, It caught my eye because it was glowing in the sun while everything around it was dark. There’s a metaphor for life somewhere there.

Un-be-leaf-able. Have I said Wow? Ok How about thrilling? Enjoy.

  1. I’m so glad you mentioned to open the photo online. What a difference from just looking at it in the email. I have a 27 inch screen and it is glorious. I feel like making it my screen photo. Thank you!!!
