Which Way to the Sky?

The clouds were John-Ford-Western majestic last night heralding approaching rain. Being caught in an urban environment I couldn’t get the big sky effect I wanted so I just turned the panorama feature and shot the toward the sky,

My patio table is wet this morning so there must have been a little rain last night. I hope it was enough to stop the fires North of here
Nice sky panorama. I like your description of the John Ford sky . . . and the sunset. Best wishes on fire suppression – it’s scary.

I have stared looking around for what I would take if I had 10 min. to evacuate. Scary yes. For us it will be the earth quack

Poor northern CA! I was there in April and May and you were suffering then! Wish you could have some of our nightly thundershowers!!! http://judydykstrabrown.com/2015/09/16/just-follow-the-bouncing-ball-cees-which-way-challenge/

I willed it northwards. Rain threatened here but never happened. Glad you got it instead.

Gorgeous skies, Carol. We had a light, but steady, rain here yesterday afternoon and night. I will take more of that in lieu of a downpour all at once.
