Any tree standing after this years drought should be celebrated.
The isolated image can create an emotional impact everything from bravery and fear or loneliness and courage. Black and white add another layer of shiver perhaps. Your Sonoma Oak tree has a very Impressionistic look to it. The painterly effect is dramatic.
