I am adding this to Weekly Photo Challenge Glow as you can see it is more about light and glow then objects.
I was capturing the light through a sunflower’s leaves. So bright and hopeful waiting to be planted Thursday during the new moon. I’m not ready to move away from the fires still burning so near by. So I doubled exposed the leaf over the dramatic smoky sunset Friday. Let me know what this makes you feel.

Nice photo, Carol. It chokes me up.
Here’s to blue skies, at long last!

I have blue skies too. But Weather Undergound is rating our air in Albany as Unhealthy still. Oh my!

It’s what we can’t see that will hurt us. A nice gentle rain would be gift at this point.

The photo brought me happiness of my childhood days, when I hid from my friends. Yet knowing when and where you took the photo, made me think of how beauty is still there among destruction. Beautifully captured.
