My First morning in London we went up the Themes to Greenwich crossing under The London Bridge. I’ve been playing with photo painting Apps to create different versions of the original image

Which do you like best?
Funny Story about a London Bridge: In 1967 a developer in Arizona bought what they thought was THE London Bridge and… “ relocated The London Bridge from England, (where it) links the mainland to marinas and a looped path in an area known as the Island. The Lake Havasu Museum of History documents Native American and steamboat history. Lake Havasu State Park has beaches with mountain views, plus picnic spots and birdlife.”
I was happy to see there was still a London Bridge in London

The bridge in Arizona really was the London Bridge from 1831 to 1967. The one you photographed is the Tower Bridge, but many people, possibly including the Arizona buyer, have confused the two.

I saw all that on google. Pretty funny how they didn’t know what bridge they bought.

I do like the “watercolor” version. Can you eliminate the structure that seems to be leaning out from behind the right-hand tower?

I like the juxtaposition of the modern buildings against the old. That’s how London struck me as a city of opposites

Nice effects, Carol. I favor the first one but, then again, deep-down in my heart I’m a B&W photographer.
