Sunday Sills Red And Pink for February

Great colors for the month when Valentines and Chinese New Year collide, along with all fruit trees blossom in Northern California.

Terri I’m so glad you put these 2 colors tougher, because at Christmas time one afternoon I had on a big red sweater and a pink sun hat and an older friend kept commenting on on how outrageous I was to wear pink and red together. I guess it was long ago taboo. Here’s some ladies in pink and red

  2. I love this Carol, when we get to a certain age, who cares if the colors clash. I’m not the biggest fan of wearing either color–I got teased too much as a kid when mom dressed me in pepto-bismol pink or some hideous red that clashed with my overly curly red hair! Trust me, I heard every joke you can think of. I own a bright pink rain park (my mom would be proud…it was also on sale at a Columbia clothing outlet. I wear some red and black buffalo plaid but keep it simple so as not to scare people.

    Happy Valentines Day and Chinese New Year as we welcome the reds and pins of spring! I truly love the pic of the girl on the bike!

  3. Those ‘rules’ about colours and which goes together don’t seem to be enforced (!) any more. I am a colour-love and they can all be together!
