In case you haven’t noticed Light Words have moved to shades of pink and red.
Do my eyes deceive me?
Bright red wings flutter and
Scarlet macaws soar across
my kitchen table. Yes, the Christmas
cactus has bloomed in April.
After blooming in December the Christmas cactus was set outside and forgotten until all the dark winter days convinced it to bloom again. It was a welcomed decoration for my Easter table.
Reminder Christmas in April is, also volunteer home building and repair program. Check it out. We use to do it every Earth Day now it is year round.

Yes! Christmas in April is now Rebuilding Together (http://rebuildingtogether.org/), and they are still promoting April as “National Rebuilding Month.” Your cactus is gorgeous. Something keeps nibbling on mine.
