I can’t get to the Reader or Freshly Pressed and more. I am trying to keep up with folks I follow as best I can.  I read a blogger in the Netherlands is having the same problem last week and now it’s hit the West Coast of the US. What can I do?

  2. For me it seems that new topics aren’t appearing normally in the topics I follow. Before I would just need to scroll a bit before a new post pops up. But now I need to refresh before I see any new posts.

    1. There is something wrong with WP it seems. They only give me 6 to read at a time now that I refreshed. Well I am making new friends. Hello Zen 🙂

  3. For the past week or two I’ve been having issues. I’ve updated Firefox but that didn’t help. It seems to be an intermittent problem for me right now and I’m hoping WP will eventually work out the glitches. UGH!

    1. I hope they work it out, too. I have an old computer, I keep being afraid the problem is on my end but you message is reassuring that it is their problem. Glad to Meet you Stormlover :),

        1. Yes these geriatric computers do need a lot of TLC. I did refresh and I got my reader working a while ago. I’m crossing my fingers it works!

  4. Glad to know it is not just me. I usually scroll down until I see pictures I remember from yesterday but there are new pictures mixed in with the old pictures. I get people I am not subscribed to and don’t get posts from people I am subscribed to. This makes it hard to follow the people I really want to see.

    1. Oh Yes mine has been mixed up like that too, sheeesh! Joss I see suggested clearing the cache when I figure out what that is I will try it. Do you know what a cache is? if so let me know. Maybe together we can work this out 🙂

  7. It does seem to be a little unstable still, since they added the terrific new notifications tab. I’ve had lots of trouble with it, and in the end, I cleared my cache (that’s like a rubbish bin, in your internet reader software), but what really did the trick was deleting WordPress from my security settings which keeps a record of all the cookies and other website data I’ve supplied from sites I visit. Your language student may understand this. If he doesn’t perhaps you’d better write to the help desk because unless you use Safari to surf the net, I won’t be much more use to you. Here’s the address for emails to WordPress: You have to coin a question for the subject line, and someone will get back to you. In the meantime, are you using your Blogroll to access your favourite sites? That’s what I did and it was a great help.

  8. Wow this is very helpful. I will work on this. Clearing the cookies may be a good idea. Thank you for all time and attention. I hope others read this and it will help them, too. I’ll let you know how it all works. 🙂

  9. Carol, the reader has been a little funky here too; this seems to happen when WP updates or changes features. Blog roll was not working well early this morning but is OK now, still a little slow. Freshly Pressed seems fine, but I rarely go there 🙂

    1. You know I wonder if things acted “funky” because it is the first of the month and something got changed over that day. I know Firefox does that when it wants to up date ? Just a thought. Smile back 🙂 Carol
