NaPoMa National Poetry Month Day Two

Be Not Fooled

The lone and level sands stretch far away*

a-way a-way a-way

Somewhere waves beat upon a shore

da-dum da-dum da-dum

The moon tonight, both frail and thin, may not guide us on our way

see-me see-me see-meee

We fool ourselves each day we refuse to see the poetry

he-he he-he he-heee

Look close there is a barefoot child, a dog, a friend, then listen to your heart sing wild

da-dum da-dum da-dum!

Ah-men and Al le lu uh  ia!
