And Sit Right Down for A Saturday Sing-a-long

This Weekly Photo Challenge Inside is a good opportunity to show off our new gate and handrails my very talented carpenter husband just finished. Now I feel safe going up and down our steps. I need a new hip one of these days.

I accidental took this picture of a part of my living room but I didn’t delete and it does seems to fit with the theme of Inside. Putting this together somehow “Walk Right In Sit Right Down!” got stuck in my head so I had to look it up on You Tube. Turns out it is a very old folk song by Gus Cannon (1929 ) So come on inside and get out your banjo and kazoo and sing along:

If I remember right, Peter, Paul and Mary sang that too. Also the one I really liked was in the early 1960’s. The Roof Top Singers sang it and it was pretty popular. I always liked it.
And by the way, I could use Jim around our place for a while. lol
Always need a little work done.
