“Freedom’s just another word for nothing left to lose”. Still sing that song at times. It’s so evocative of that whole era. Sometimes I wonder what happened to all those rebellious souls – did they, we, really all end up wearing suits?
In Berkeley you see some folks that seem stuck in 1968 and they just look sad. I believe some of us, you and I may have found the middle ground to grow and still keep those freedom loving values. I doubt you and yours wear a suit.
Marie told us how many older (our age) people were often very sad. From these pictures I see why. Thank you for sharing those powerful images. May your country stay free and safe.
Since I was born in 1975, I must say it was a bit before my time 🙂 But colourful memories for sure – enjoyed you sharing them here!
PS: I am sorry there was no challenge last Sunday. I have been on the road constanty for almost 2 weeks but I promise the challenge will be back this weekend again.
