Nurture You and Yours with Tasty Treats and Laughter and Good Cheer!

Make Chocolate Zucchini Cake then fallow the recipe for a fun night from last year’s Halloween poem below.
Beware
The ghouls, goblins and ghosties
come out to be creepy and sneaky
about my gardens rows and edges.
Lock up the cat, chain down the dogs,
tell all the children to beware!
October’s wind blows in
terrible creatures with long noses,
fingers and toesies.
They sniff around for sweet tender bite-es
of all things young and growin’.
Hang lavenders and apples
around the windows,
throw salt and sages
under all the fences.
Go inside behind locked doors
and drink toastie
of hot coca and marshmallow roasties,
laugh so loud and cheery
you scare away the fierest ghoulies,
goblins and ghosties!

None of them have to be “spiritual” — only nurturing! Even the most “spiritually – minded” need some laughter! (in my opinion) … I know for me — I DO NOT laugh often enough! Something I have to diligently work on! 😀

Well then a gummy worm covered cake is just the right medicine I wish you could have been there to help eat it. There were also rummy gummys big wink! 😀

Isadora so good to here from you. For some reason WP was protecting me from you. I finally stopped that!
Wow high praise 😀
So happy you found my cake and poem nurturing! I made two this week but only one with tasty worms.

😃 Tasty worms …. I wonder if WP thought I was a tasty worm you needed to avoid. LOL No worries I have that happen to my reader all of a sudden too. I’m a little too much of a novice to figure it all out. Usually, I back track from other blogs I’ve posted or from comments left on the challenge I’m doing. Glad to see you here, as well. Hope you are well and enjoying your yummy cake. 😍

Hi Carol, the cake seems delicious, careful you will attract all these creepy creatures from your poem, since “they will sniff around for the sweet”!

The cake looks really good. But . . . you said on one post that “wish you could have been there” to eat it. Does that mean the party is over??
And in our house hold, Mary was disappointed, but I was happy about the the way the series turned out. Great job SF.

The party was Sunday. The parade for the Giants is today. But it’s gonna rain. I’ll watch on Tv. Isn’t every one in Okla Cards fans?
