While visiting The Native Plant Garden late in the day on Saturday, there was little light or color but a festival of texture surrounding me. The little dog that wandered by joined in with his rough wooly coat.

Does anyone else love the Thanksgiving day Dog show as much as I do? Even if I’ll probably just record it  to watch later.

  1. Love texture in the garden – it’s as important as colour and shape. The smooth with the rough, the shiny with the matt, the hairy with the glossy. The texture of wood, stones, earth and plants.
