While visiting The Native Plant Garden late in the day on Saturday, there was little light or color but a festival of texture surrounding me. The little dog that wandered by joined in with his rough wooly coat.
Does anyone else love the Thanksgiving day Dog show as much as I do? Even if I’ll probably just record it to watch later.

Those textures are part of nature’s lure. Nicely captured. Enjoy the holiday and the dog show. Happy Photo Challenge.

I like the second one best. That additional saturation really adds to the photo for me. Happy Thanksgiving.

These are really fun photos plus I adore the textural ones. The second framed photo gets my vote. And your dog is really a cutie.

2nd one is winning. The dog was just a passing cutie pie. Thanks for stopping by.

Love texture in the garden – it’s as important as colour and shape. The smooth with the rough, the shiny with the matt, the hairy with the glossy. The texture of wood, stones, earth and plants.
