When I saw the subject for today’s Photo Challenge I tiptoed out barefoot to captured the Fresh First Day of Spring Dew Drops, as I was enjoying the morning I remembered my mom singing “while the dew is still on the roses…”
What songs do you remember a parent singing?
Welcome Spring!
Well caught, Carol. Enjoy the weekend.

As for mom singing, I just remember her humming a lot. Not anything I recognized though.

What a wonderful rose! Great dew drops on the leaves, too. My parents both sang – especially lullabies when we were going to sleep. It’s a good memory. When I was a child I thought everyone’s parents did that.

I would want every child to have a song, or a story as they go off to sleep. My mom made up a story about a sleepy kitty that she told me every night.
Lovely memories. 😍
