
Mauve has a really interesting history, starting out as the color of a flower from the mallow family then a die and more. here’s a little of what Wikipedia says:

I so remember the “mauve” decorating in the seventies I do believe…Everyone had to have it!

There is a house near by that is Mauve. It looks like a sofa. Very weird house paint color.
