No It’s Not the Tip of a Q-tip

The Eclipsed Moon really was pink
The Eclipsed Moon really was pink

I sat the alarm to get up for the eclipse and it was worth it. We stood on the deck  shivering at 5AM to watch the last bit of white try to disappear from the already pink moon.  That fingernail crescent on the moon didn’t quite go all the way away but I enjoyed the soft blurry glow in the sky. Perfect opportunity to photography blurry with an iPhone… Did anyone else see the  shortest total eclipse of the century?

Why I appreciate This Weeks Challenge

Blurry has been how I’ve seen the world most of my life because of astigmatism. In art history I totally understood the Impressionists or should I say they got me.

  1. Great photo for this challenge. I missed it as it was in the early hours of the morning and I really do need my beauty sleep. I got it last time though. (it was getting cloudy when I went to bed though).

  2. Great shot. In Australia it was a decent time — started at 7pm. But alas the weather closed in and rain started, dashing the hopes of many photographers like myself who had set up on a beautiful vantage point by the sea.

    1. I bet it would have been a great shot. I stood on my deck an looked through the branches oh the apple tree till I was too cold.
Ain’t it great to share photo war stories from half a world away?
      I’m in Northern California.

    1. That’s what’s great about smartphone photos. I could edit the heck out of a dot in the sky to create something fun. Thanks
      Happy Easter 🐣
