The Tripping Tree

Everyone and every things gets frisky in the Spring
The Calligraphy Tree

I kept a little of the red bark and green foliage to appear as if colors were leaking out as spring arrives.

That first image engages. The light is an invitation to see the surprises that are seen the deeper one looks at the inside of the tree. Textures especially stand out. Happy Photo Challenge.

It was a quick shot as we left the beach. The light was on the stump I must have passed a hundred times and never noticed. It is all about light, indeed!
Every week you teach me how to look. Thanks

Carol, I love the second one. It’s rather other-worldly and I love the contrast of the dark tree and the light everything else.
