Finally a Primary Color!!
When I taught Jr. High art the students would ask “How do you make Red?” or Yellow or Blue? A frustrating but teachable moment. “These are stand-a-lone or PRIMARY colors that all other colors come from”, came my answer. But How they would keep asking. Color wheel charts didn’t seem to get through. There is an alchemy to primary colors that is beyond explaining, it seems to me. They need to be experienced. After a month or so of these made up (but fun) Crayola colors it is refreshing to and easy to see the wonder of pure red. Also it is easy to see how it is the chosen color for cultural icons like Coke and catsup as well as, roses and red truck (maybe the last one is just me.)

Your photos are great, Carol! ☺ Love the toy truck 😀
