Insect Collection From Mexico

As we walked through the Native Plant Garden in San Miguel Allende bright butterflies flew ahead of us. The black ones were fast and allusive so no photos. A few thought they were well camouflaged so I was able to capture their images.

Let me know what you think
PS-If you have time go to my previous post of Words for 9-11 it is something I worked on most of the month of August. I’d be interested in what you think about that too.
Happy Monday
Carol, that’s some insect. I’m intrigued with it, because the surface of the creature has a quality of velvet. It’s as though it is urging to be seen. Nicely captured. Happy Photo Challenge.

What great discoveries, Carol. It’s such a joy to see butterflies. I’d love to see a swarm so large I couldn’t begin to count them! Maybe one day again.
