This rose bush has been in the neighbor’s yard for over 30 years, between the properties forgotten it seems. She keeps appearing a few weeks very spring. The second photo I held my iPhone over the top and shot blindly to get the image of the elderly ruffled blossom, the ancient crone I could only see from my window across the street.

Let me know what you think.
Carol, these captures are lovely and give the rose its time in the limelight, especially enjoyed the second version. Happy Photo Challenge.

Beautiful work, Carol. The VSCO edits really accentuate the tone of the wilting blooms.

I forget about VSCO until now. It good to bring it out and dust it off from time to time.

These are beautiful. I almost felt like I was holding the rose in my hand and bending in for a closer look.
