Around where I live alleys are rare. So this alley in the middle of Berkeley is one of my favorite places…only about 200 yards long the short privet walk under oak trees becomes a sweet leaf crunching meditation.

Under more oaks high above Berkeley you can walk out to the edge of the earth and on clear days see all the way to the Golden Gate.
I thought I would join in the Nancy Merrill’s Photo a Week Challenge today because I’m always ready and willing to go Off the Beaten Path
Wonderful photos. Thanks for joining the challenge!

The photo of the overlook is stunning, Carol. I could spend a lot of time under that tree, pondering that view.

Oh yes it is a great vantage point. Now if I could find it again. PS I played with the iPhone 8+ What a beast! Portrait and zoom big changes.

Good to hear, Carol. I am holding out for the X because of the smaller overall size.

Noooo! Please don’t tell me. The Hugh size of the 8 bothered me. Now I have to shell out a grand. Any idea how to finance it?

You can either use your provider or Barclay’s Bank thru the Apple Store.

The Apple plan looks like a good option. Thanks.
