Driving home From SF at Sunset watching the Wine Country Fire Fire-Red Sun. The scale of the devastation is Unfathomable, there is nothing to compare them to.. I’ll let the images speak.

Love the Mt. Tam sunset, Carol. The reflection on the water sells the image.

Beauty in face of so much tragedy. I hope you are OK where you are. We got hammered yesterday by smoke and ash that the wind brought over to Sacramento.

Same here, lot of smoke and ash,,,I’m running air purifiers and vent fans. It smells like someones barbecue-ing all over Albany. First time I’ve seen unhealthy air in the Chronicle. Stay inside. Be well

Being in Australia, I know only too well the horror of bushfire. Dry continents are much more at risk. I am so sorry for all those affected. It is something that scars both nature and man for many years to come.

I missed this message last week. Thanks for your kind word. The human cost of these fires is what makes this different, and the unhealthy air for us near by.
