The Plum Trees Are In Bloom
In Wildcat Canyon everywhere you look you are greeted by the Snow White arching limbs of wild plum trees. The sent is intoxicating as you walk along a path beside a babbling brook. They come ou every year so it’s not unusual, what is unusual is they are early and the quantity. I swear I could smell the plum jam already. This is my favorite tree I make a pilgrimage to especially because of its size which is enormous even though it seems drafted below the eucalyptus.

Lovely to see. Brings hope that spring is on its way…albeit slowly.
