I quietly, humbly approached
the rose fluttering before me
hoping to take her photo.
I knew it was okay
when she winked at me.
I have shared this poem before and will share it again.
You might say I want to infect the world with this truth.

Yes, sometimes it’s the easy, close step out of the comfort zone that meets the most resistance. Everything farther away is like a daydream, rather than an actual plan, so thinking about it feels safer.
