This weekend was the Himalayan Fair at Live Oak Park. It’s as if you are at a Napoli Festival in the middle of Berkeley. The sweet smell of curry and momos mingle with the sounds of tablas and children singing. While prayer fluttered above our heads.  There are so many pretty shawls I couldn’t decide what to get. Also I couldn’t get a detailed shot so I backed up almost into the street to show how the ancient trees silently stood wittiness as we humans went about our business. And tomorrow I’ll say yes I went to the Himalayan Fair this year.
