Hopefully enough to keep the craft alive. There’s a stipulation when ones buys a house with a thatched roof you have to keep it thatched and it’s very expense to replace.

We nearly bought a thatch roofed house many years ago, and the expense of the upkeep was one of the reasons we decided against it. It did look lovely though.

Yes that might be a sticking point. Did they put a wire mesh on them to keep critters out?
