Why is this a witches Roof? The triangle shape of the dormers create a cross from above so witches won’t fly in. A common practice, so I’m told. It had to be outlawed, witches needed homes too.

Sounds plausible . . but intrigued then as to why we don’t see more of them. The one I’ve usually heard is planting a yew tree outside.

I’ve heard that one too. Also plant rosemary near the door to keep witches out. Probably so it’s east to get for cooking.
