
Another MobileMonet edit of a photo I sneaked during writing group. The light fell on my fellow writer and made me think of a Rembrandt
I was writing in response to a Mary Oliver poem that ends “…the flowers were dressed in nothing but light.” I find searching for what to photograph to be an act of searing for light-like I did choosing this well dressed flower I captured a few moments ago

Wow you see what I saw! What you don’t see is that the it is a big room with many people and the light was only on him…one of our beloved elders

It is a sweet rose. We always get an extra blooming in September our hottest month
