Coral Sunset Prompts Gratitude

So many shades red, orange and pink fit  Coral for City Sonnet and Prompt for FOWC    I’m happy to see a clear blue sky  sunset because last year at this time all the sunsets were eerily grey and smoky from so many fires burning. October has  been a  month of many dramatic natural events here in Northern California. Today is the Anniversary of the 1989 6.9 Loma Preita Earthquake when part of the Bay Bridge came down. Tomorrow is the anniversary of the Oakland Hills Fire where 200 homes burned and many lives where lost. I am prompted to be grateful for clear skies and solid ground today. Oh and a monarch butterfly on the marigolds
