I love the warm light in this photo, Carol. It’s a nice counterpoint to the chilly memory of December nights in SF. Were you up in the revolving restaurant when you took this?

No had company on a high floor. It seems no one pays attention when you go up. Keep meaning to go back for more shots. I think this is from the end of a hallway. The ice rink is below too.

The reverse view of this from the Larkspur Ferry was a favorite of mine this time of year when I worked downtown. Fridays were the best on a later ferry because the city looked like a jewel box from all the lighted buildings with the cleaning crews inside.

Jewel box good description. I love the view of the city from Marin headlands at sunset. The windows glow gold for just a flash.
