According to many experts Stonehenge marks the changing of the seasons. It is designed so the sun shines between certain exactly on the solstices.  I’d sure like to be there to see it someday. In The meantime I’ll light a candle or two to drive away the dark. And wish Merry Solstice to all the folks joining in Becky B’s December Time Square Challenge

  1. I drive past Stonehenge at least 20times a year, and a year or so ago it was a twice weekly drive by!! I tend to avoid it at all costs for the summer solstice but have driven past during the winter solstice. Unfortunately never at the right time to catch the light though!
