Starting mid December a neighbor up the hill put the current year in lights on their balcony. It can be seen from far away. At the stroke of midnight the date changes I imagine. Never seen this event. January 1 night we drove close to capture this bright night light for Becky’s Challenge.

Very cool…unless you’re his next door neighbor, then it might be a bit annoying.

There are many more very bright displays around. This one is subtle by comparison. Which may be why it is so cool 😎
