Quince Blooming For Chinese New Year

This year Chinese New Year 2021 begins Friday February 12. The red of the quince is said to bring good luck and is often used to decorate tables for the New Years Feast. I know this because friends and neighbors use to come by and pick branches from our bush. Because of the drought, sadly there are very few flowers this year. However, maybe just enough to bring all the luck we need to make 2021 better than 2020.
