Terri Webster has am incredibly collection of BUGS. Here’s a few of the bees and friends I’ve collected over the years. I’ll start with a couple of OLD butterflies for One Word Sunday.

Old Monarch on Milkweed
Cabbage Butterfly on Lavender

Bee on Lavender
Bumble Bee
Lady Bug
Swallowtail laying egg on Anise
another Bee
Healthy Monarch on Mexican Marigold
Brown Flittary on Mexican Merigold
Moth
Gulf Flitary
I plant flowers that provide food and egg laying places for polenators

Finally a few very young butterflies

Monarch Caterpillar on Milkweed
Swallowtail on Anise plant
These are great, Carol! Butterflies and bees seem to be a photographer’s dream! Praying mantis too since they sit there and look at you, LOL!

Butterflies takes some work. The bees don’t usually notice me.
Your dragonfly is gorgeous, it seems bejeweled!
We rarely see praying mantis, yours are a treat.
Thanks for letting me share my Summers work 😍
