Two photos and two Poems for One Word Sunday Poetic. My poem inspired by Wendell Berry

MOSS Using my precious writing time instead I put down my pen close my book put on my shoes to go out where there is bright green moss on a red brick I know it is always there in winter rabbit soft and fleshy I give thanks for that simple being of plant life And pray may I surrender to my place on earth as gracefully as moss on stone and am free.
