Green Garden

I’m using Cee’s Midweek Madness Kelly Green Challenge to share a gardening project I’ve been participating in. Last Summer The Honoring Indigenous Peoples Group (HIP) read Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer , dueling the read we learned about Three Sisters Gardens so we desired to plant one at our church. Here are photo of the finished product starting with a sign explaining what a Three sisters garden is.

The Kelly green corn in the new raised bed garden Because deer abound in our area the garden has to be fenced .
