Denzil’s Nature Photo Challenge #24 Edible Plants

I’m participating with a group to plant a 3 Sisters Garden. Here is a link to the making of this garden.The Sisters are: Corn that supports, beans that nurtures the soil and squash that protect the soil and roots. Together they are a complete protein. The garden was planted in June this is what it looks like now in August. It is fenced in to keep the deer out.

Three Sisters Garden

That garden is further away from the bay and high on a hill than I am so I have only beans and peas and a little squash blossom so far no corn.

Here are some fruit bad vegetables that have grown in my yard over the years,

wild Blackberries
Pluns
Artichokes
Myers’s lemons
My First Passion Fruit
Grapes
