Denzil wants us to show him our Ladybirds/Ladybugs for this weeks Nature Photo Challenge. The fact I learned from my Apple Bug identifier is that the ladybugs I photographed in my gardening are coccihelldea california. California has its own ladybug. I like their panda like faces, and bright spotless backs. Maybe the California Ladybug should replace the Grizzly Bear on our state flag. There’s more of them.


On a rainy day last winter I found 2 ladybugs dressed in different gowns…
