For Lens Artist Challenge Habitat I’m going to focus on what seems to be a single habitat but like most is layered with many species and in a small space consist of mutual habitats.
Just to let you know how close to an urban habitat, US Interstate 80 pass about half a mile from my home before it soon ends its journey to San Francisco from Chicago. Just below its interchange is Albany Mudflats State Marine Reserve , a protected tidal wetland. We headed out there as the temperatures cooled down from high 80s yesterday for a cooling stroll. There I saw for the first time a large flock of California pelicans feasting where the salt water of SF Bay meet fresh water from Marine creek meet.

Brown Pelicans

I took this video look how close the projected wild life is to urban habitat.

Other wildlife from same small area

As Humans as climate worries encroache upon our daily life we also need a place.
