Anyone else have pet red eared turtle as a kid? It was a popular pet in the late 50s into the 60s. I had mine for about 7 years.

Nice to see the red eared turtle. I didn’t have one, but I remember those little turtles you could buy at the dime store years ago. Then we did have a box turtle when my girls were young. His name was Herbie! 🙂

No longer a pet here this was long ago. Once it was popular to wear a live lizard pinned to your cardigan. Mom wouldn’t let me lol
