I went out blossom hunting because I knew the rain was coming at the end of the week. I gave up and I stopped to take photos of the bear fountain shinning in the afternoon sun(tomorrows post) and there was a magnolia in all her glory right where I parked. As I ooed and awed and clicked away the home owner came outside to join me. Fortunately he was proud of his beautiful tree. He even told me how he brought it from his previous house then gladly explained that it was blooming early since there has been so much sunshine this winter. I hope to go back to visit her in the misty rain soon.
I like your term “blossom hunting”– thanks for a lovely photo.

I’m jealous. That might be my favorite flower. I can smell it in my imagination. Thank you!
