Friday the 13th I felt pulled

to get to the little edge San Fransisco Bay Beach I affectionately call Albany Beach. Great storm clouds were piling up I was in a hurry to get a few pictures before it started to rain again.

The night before had been an epoch thunderstorm.  Maybe there would be good beach combing too I thought. I certainly came away with a lot of prizes. You have seen, in my 2 previous posts, the hummingbird and the bumble bee photos I took before I even got to the beach.

To document the place I took those epoch shots I turn around and photographed the hill of purple spires and the clouds behind them. I didn’t check the shot until I put it in the computer and there it was a perfect 5 pointed star of blue marking the place the hummingbird allowed himself to be photographed.  What is to be said?  Should I build a shrine? Was it just a lucky shot?

The way the story usually goes is you follow the star to find a gift, or blessing this time the star is the gift itself. I keep looking at it to see if it is really there.  You see the too don’t you?

I am thrilled to share it with you. I hope it brightens your life too.
