She Watches From her Sunny Front Porch
concerned I’ll awaken her kits.
I hope to be invited in to her
world of filtered light
of poppy and sweet grass beds.
We will drink Jupiter’s beard tea
and speak softly from our hearts
of stones and earth and
the ground we all walk upon
where no one is a loser.
Photo taken at near San Francisco’s East Bay Shoreline Park where graffiti artist and ground squirrels freely roam and mingle.
Just came from a first grade class, and yes, I would love to join you with the squirrels right now.:) -Jennifer
