Pretty was the first word I spoke, so I was told.
To me everything around me was pretty
and it was mine.
Now I still want to capture, hold onto,
and own everything I see.
I use to try to draw it or
paint it,
or buy it
or horde it. Now I photograph it,
them, her, him,
my toes, you saw those pictures the other day I hope.
Now all I do is click and save.
What’s even more fun is clicking the publish button
to I share with you.
After over 295 posts today
have I succeed in bringing Light and Joy
Wisdom and Whimsy into your life?
Please let know
It sure would make me pretty happy!
Margo Roby’s Tuesday Tryouts asked us to try out writing something that is true emotional of our self.
Yes, I have enjoyed your blogs and especially the photos. So glad your doing what I used to do so much of back in the olden days. lol Remember the area around Lake Ponca Park that was so pretty. Still have photos I took out there (somewhere). Seeing photos “down the road” always brings back such good memories. Usually we have such beautiful trees about now, but this extremely dry summer messed that up for us. Southeastern Oklahoma is really beautiful.

I’m smiling as I read. The voice is the you I know coming over the cyberwaves. The tree is gorgeous. I have a tree turning outside my window. I go and look at it several times a day.

It means a lot that you recognize my voice through the cyberwaves. This tree is on the corner of our block, it makes a trip to the store a treat in late afternoon, because that’s when it catches the sun just so.

Lynn, it means so much to know you read and appreciate my work. I should post ” you light up my life” by Debbie Boone one of these days before the year is over?
