A few sweet blossoms from a visit to the Native Plant Garden in Tilden Park. Our Brazilian visitor couldn’t see the whole state of California on this visit so we took him to see this garden that has plants from every part of the state. I came home with pollen on my nose from sniffing all these beauties. Click a picture to view larger image.
You saw some wonderful blooms. I think the Tilden Park Botanic Gardens are wonderful. I love touring California. The last time I was there I went with one of my classmates from my Ranger class and got to see all sorts of plants that Denis was looking for. It is a garden with endless varities to explore. Great pictures. I like the new look of your blog too./

Such pretty flowers the prickly pears have, Carol. I don’t think I’ve ever seen them before. 🙂

The prickly pear flowers are about the same color as the fruit. When you wander out here to California, I’ll give you the same tour so you can see for yourself 😉
