Do you have your witch ball in place for Halloween?
According to folk tales, witch balls would entice evil spirits with their bright colors (and refracted light);the strands inside the ball would then capture the spirit and prevent it from escaping.
They must work because my garden is free of evil spirits!
I really like sparkly refracted light this is my second post for This challenge.

Well they do gaze on it get caught then become transformed into beautiful colors, it seems 🙂

I always wondered what witch balls were for. Love the colours and reflections in yours. Well gazing balls must be an English tradition as I’ve never heard of them in Scotland.

Some sources say they are an American folk tradition! It’s not to well known where they originated. Maybe you could start it in Scotland 😉
